Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi to Introduce Advanced Chinese Cryoablation Machine for Cancer Treatment

Rawalpindi: After Mayo Hospital Lahore, Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi has decided to adopt modern Chinese technology for cancer treatment. The hospital’s Medical Superintendent (MS), Dr. Ijaz Butt, has submitted a formal request to the Punjab Health Department for the installation of a **cryoablation machine**.
According to hospital officials, the cryoablation machine will be installed in the Radiology Department, enabling the commencement of cancer treatment later this year once the equipment is received. A specialized medical team is already available at Holy Family Hospital to operate the machine and begin patient care.
Dr. Butt stated that cancer patients will be registered at the hospital before treatment begins. The cryoablation machine will provide effective treatment for kidney, liver, lung, bladder, and breast cancers.
Sources revealed that the Punjab government plans to supply cryoablation machines to at least one divisional headquarters hospital across the province, expanding access to advanced cancer treatment.
