Court Cancels Arrest Warrants of Imaan Mazari and Husband in Controversial Tweet Case

Islamabad:The District and Sessions Court Islamabad on Tuesday canceled the **arrest warrants** of lawyer and activist **Imaan Mazari** and her husband **Hadi Ali Chattha** in the controversial tweet case.

According to *Dunya News*, Additional District and Sessions Judge **Muhammad Afzal Majoka** heard the case, during which both Mazari and Chattha appeared before the court. The judge annulled their arrest warrants and adjourned the hearing until **September 29**.

Earlier, on **September 22**, the court had issued arrest warrants for the couple and directed authorities to produce them before the court on **September 24** after repeated summons were ignored.

Separately, on Monday, the **Peshawar High Court** granted Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha **transit bail until October 9**.
