Blast Near Railway Track in Mastung; No Casualties Reported

QUETTA: A blast occurred near a railway track in the **Dasht area of Mastung district** on Monday, police confirmed. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Following the explosion, heavy contingents of police and security forces rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. A **Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS)** was also called in to collect evidence and determine the nature of the blast.

Police said investigations are underway to identify the perpetrators behind the incident.

It is worth noting that **Balochistan has witnessed a surge in terrorist attacks** in recent weeks. In September alone, nine incidents of terrorism claimed **32 lives and left 47 others injured**, with political gatherings, security forces, and civilians targeted across different districts of the province.
