Why Javeria Saud Complained About Actresses Being Lifted? Saud Explains

Karachi – Veteran Pakistani film star **Saud** has revealed why his wife, actress and producer **Javeria Saud**, once complained to him about lifting actresses during film shoots.

Speaking on *365 News*, Saud opened up about the differences between film and television acting, recalling the challenges of his film career. He explained that in the past, film dialogues often had to be dubbed later since scripts were incomplete and prints were of poor quality. This taught actors, including himself, to lip-read fluently.

Sharing a light-hearted incident, Saud said that during his film days, he frequently had to lift actresses during shoots. One day, Javeria asked him to lift their daughter Jannat instead, but he refused.

“Javeria complained, saying: *You can lift heavy heroines, but not your own daughter?* I replied that I was paid to lift the heroines,” Saud said with a smile.

The actor’s candid remarks highlighted the lighter side of his relationship with Javeria, while also reflecting on the demanding nature of Pakistan’s past film industry.
