TV Host Waseem Badami Shares Heartbreaking Details on Umar Shah’s Death

Karachi:Renowned TV host **Waseem Badami** has revealed distressing details about the tragic death of **Umar Shah**, the younger brother of viral child star Ahmed Shah, saying doctors told him that “if they had a little more time, they could have saved Umar.”
Last week, Umar’s sudden passing shocked the nation. According to the family, Umar appeared healthy the night before but suddenly fell ill, began vomiting, and something obstructed his airway. He was rushed to **Civil Hospital**, but unfortunately passed away at **Fajr time**.
His uncle recalled that Umar showed no signs of illness earlier in the evening. He narrated that after Ahmed informed him about Umar’s condition, they initially took it lightly but soon realized the situation was critical. Carrying Umar in his arms, the uncle struggled through the **long hospital corridor**, eventually collapsing on the floor and calling for help. Hospital staff then rushed Umar to the doctors, but precious minutes had already been lost.
Speaking on a private TV show, **Waseem Badami** said doctors later told him, *“Umar gave us five to ten minutes, but if we had just a little more time, we could have done something to save him.”*
