Toshakhana 2 Trial Enters Final Stage; Statements of Former PM’s Military, Deputy Secretaries Recorded

RAWALPINDI: The Toshakhana 2 case against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi has entered its final phase, with key witness testimonies recorded during the ongoing trial at Adiala Jail.

On Monday, the court recorded the statements of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Military Secretary Brigadier (retd) Muhammad Ahmed and Deputy Military Secretary Colonel Rehan. Defense lawyers for Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi also completed cross-examination of both witnesses.

So far, testimonies of 18 prosecution witnesses have been recorded, with cross-examinations completed. The hearing has now been adjourned until **September 18**, when NAB officer Mohsin Haroon, another prosecution witness, has been summoned to testify.

During the proceedings, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were brought from jail to the courtroom. Khan’s three sisters were also present during the hearing.

Representing the defense were Arshad Tabraiz, Qousain Faisal Mufti, Zaheer Chaudhry, and Usman Gul, while the FIA was represented by Special Public Prosecutors Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi and Umair Majid Malik.
