Five Soldiers Martyred in Kech IED Blast, Five Militants Killed in Clearance Operation

Balochistan (ABN News): Five Pakistan Army personnel were martyred during a sanitization operation in the Sher Bandi area of Kech district when an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed.

According to ISPR, the martyrs include Captain Waqar Ahmed, Naik Ismatullah, Lance Naik Junaid Ahmed, Lance Naik Khan Muhammad, and Sepoy Muhammad Zahoor.

The military’s media wing added that during the clearance operation, five militants belonging to the Indian-backed proxy group *Fitna Al-Hind* were killed.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and a search operation is underway to eliminate any remaining threats.
