31 Militants of “Fitna al-Khawarij” Killed in KP Security Operations

Lakki Marwat: At least 31 militants of the India-backed group “Fitna al-Khawarij” were killed in two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) carried out by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 13 and 14, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to ISPR, security forces conducted an operation in Lakki Marwat district after receiving reports of militant presence. During the operation, the militants’ hideout was effectively targeted, leading to a heavy exchange of fire. Fourteen militants were killed in the encounter.
In a separate IBO in Bannu district, another 17 militants were eliminated.
The military’s media wing confirmed that clearance operations are still underway to ensure no remaining militants escape. It reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces remain determined to root out terrorism sponsored from across the border and ensure peace in the country.
