Supreme Court Judge Ayesha Malik’s Convoy Meets Accident Near Kala Shah Kaku; 5 Security Personnel Injured

LAHORE: A convoy escorting Supreme Court Judge Justice Ayesha A. Malik met with an accident near Kala Shah Kaku, leaving five Elite Force personnel injured after their vehicle overturned.

According to police, the crash occurred due to overspeeding, which caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle. Three of the injured officers were reported to be in critical condition and were shifted to a hospital for treatment.

Justice Ayesha Malik remained safe during the incident and was escorted to safety with her security detail, police confirmed.

Authorities identified the injured personnel as Umar, Abdullah, and Mubashir among others. The judge was traveling from Islamabad to Lahore at the time of the accident.
