Rahmat Saleh Baloch Rejects Corruption Allegations in Balochistan Assembly
Quetta: Balochistan Assembly member Rahmat Saleh Baloch strongly denied allegations of corruption during the assembly session, calling the claims part of a “deliberate propaganda campaign” against him.
He said that for the past three to four days, baseless reports have been circulating, accusing his constituency of misusing Rs1.32 billion. *“This is completely false and fabricated. Not a single rupee of corruption has taken place in my constituency,”* he asserted.
Baloch invited accountability, stating that if anyone has doubts, they should request the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team (CMIT) to conduct a thorough investigation.
He reaffirmed his commitment to freedom of expression, emphasizing that he would never bow to pressure. *“No one can pressurize me, and I will never betray the trust of my people,”* he added.
