YouTube Channel Ban Overturned: Court Accepts Appeals of Multiple YouTubers

Lahore: A local court has overturned the decision of a judicial magistrate that ordered the shutdown of 27 YouTube channels. The court accepted several appeals filed by content creators, including prominent platforms like Daily Qudrat, Naya Pakistan, and Matiullah Jan’s channel.

The verdict was announced by Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka, following the conclusion of arguments earlier today.

The case was represented by senior lawyer and senator Kamran Murtaza on behalf of Daily Qudrat. The court ruled on 11 appeals that were under consideration, declaring the previous shutdown order null and void.

This decision paves the way for the restoration of the affected YouTube channels.
