Mumbai: Renowned Indian actress Priya Marathe has passed away at the age of 38 after a long battle with cancer, Indian media reported on Monday.

According to reports, the actress had been fighting the disease for several years but succumbed to it at her residence.

Priya Marathe was known for her performances in numerous Bollywood and Tollywood films as well as television dramas. In 2012, she married fellow actor Shantanu.
