PTI Ranked as Most Influential Political Party on Social Media: Survey
Islamabad:The **Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR)** has declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) the most influential political party on social media, according to its latest survey report.
The findings show that **39% of Pakistanis** consider PTI the most effective political party online. In comparison, **28%** ranked Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) as effective, while only **9%** viewed Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) as influential. **Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP)** received just **1%** support in this category.
The survey also revealed deep skepticism toward official communication, with **55% of respondents saying they do not trust government information shared on social media**, while **37% expressed trust**.
Regarding platform use, **WhatsApp** was identified as the most widely used app in Pakistan, while **43% of respondents named Facebook as the biggest source of fake news** in the country.
