Popular Punjabi Actor and Comedian Jaswinder Bhalla Passes Away at 65

Mumbai: Renowned Punjabi film actor and comedian Jaswinder Singh Bhalla has passed away at the age of 65.
According to Indian media reports, Bhalla suffered a brain stroke and was admitted to a hospital in Mohali, where he breathed his last on Friday morning. His family confirmed the sad news of his passing.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 12 PM in Mohali, with many personalities from the Punjabi film industry expected to attend.
The news of his death has left the Punjabi film fraternity in deep shock. Bhalla’s passing marks the end of an era, as he was considered one of the pillars of Punjabi comedy. His unique style and unmatched comic timing earned him a special place in the hearts of millions.

Jaswinder Bhalla began his career in 1988 with the comedy album *Chhankata 88*.
