Government Announces New Petroleum Prices for Next 15 Days; Petrol Unchanged, Diesel Rates Reduced

Islamabad:The federal government has announced the **new petroleum prices** for the next **15 days**, keeping **petrol prices unchanged** while reducing the rates of other petroleum products.
According to the notification:

* **Petrol** will remain at **Rs. 264.61 per litre**.
* **High-speed diesel (HSD)** has seen a **reduction of Rs. 12.84**, bringing the new price to **Rs. 272.99 per litre**.
* **Kerosene oil** has been reduced by **Rs. 7.19**, with a new price of **Rs. 178.27 per litre**.
* **Light diesel oil (LDO)** is now priced at **Rs. 162.37 per litre**, following a **Rs. 8.20** decrease.
The price revision reflects **global market trends** and aims to provide some **financial relief** to consumers, especially in the agriculture and transport sectors that rely heavily on diesel products.
These revised rates will be effective **immediately** and remain in force for the **next 15 days**, after which prices may be reviewed again based on international oil prices and currency exchange rates.
