Governor Balochistan Vows Swift Public Justice Through Weekly Hearings at Governor House

Quetta:Governor of Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail**, has reaffirmed his commitment to providing **swift and direct access to justice** for the public through weekly hearings held at the **Governor House Quetta**, under the platform of the **Provincial Ombudsman’s Office**.
Speaking to media representatives, Governor Mandokhail stated that every **Friday**, he personally presides over public hearings where **citizens’ complaints and grievances** are heard in detail. He emphasized that both parties involved in a dispute are given the **full opportunity to present their case**, and after **a thorough inquiry**, decisions are issued **on the spot**. Relevant government departments are then **directed to take immediate action**.
“We firmly believe in giving the poor and marginalized **direct access to justice**,” said the Governor. “Ensuring **transparency, accountability, and quality governance** in public institutions is the key to reducing mismanagement and corruption, ultimately restoring public trust.”
He further stressed that a **robust check-and-balance mechanism** is essential to uphold **transparency and accountability** in all government departments. Mandokhail highlighted the pivotal role of the **Ombudsman’s Office** in delivering **affordable and timely justice**, especially for the underprivileged.
Acknowledging the role of modern tools in governance, the Governor underscored the need to **digitize government institutions**. “Good governance cannot be achieved without digitization. We must also **continually enhance the capacity of public officers and employees** to create an efficient and transparent system,” he added.
