Afghanistan Announces 22-Member Preliminary Squad for Asia Cup and Tri-Nation Series
KABUL:The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced a 22-member **preliminary squad** for the upcoming **Men’s Asia Cup 2025** and the **T20 Tri-Nation Series** involving **Pakistan** and **hosts United Arab Emirates (UAE)**.
According to ACB, the squad will be led by star leg-spinner **Rashid Khan** and will undergo a **two-week training and preparation camp** ahead of the tournaments. Following the camp, the squad will be trimmed down to the final 15 players for both competitions.
The **Tri-Nation T20I Series** is scheduled to be held from **August 29 to September 7** at the **Sharjah Cricket Stadium**, while the **Asia Cup 2025** will take place in the UAE from **September 9 to 28**.
