Peshawar High Court Orders Removal of Azam Swati’s Name from ECL

Peshawar:The Peshawar High Court has directed the removal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Azam Swati’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
According to reports from private TV channel Geo News, the Peshawar High Court issued a written order on the petition to remove Azam Swati’s name from the ECL during the latest hearing. The court accepted the request and ordered the removal of his name from the list.
The court also instructed Swati to submit a surety bond of Rs. 5 crore. It further directed that the bond be submitted to the Registrar’s office, and Azam Swati must appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) whenever summoned.
Additionally, Azam Swati has filed a petition in the Peshawar High Court seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered in Islamabad. In his plea, he expressed concerns about the possibility of his arrest and requested the court to grant him a corridor bail, allowing him to appear in relevant courts in Islamabad.
