Siblings Murder Pregnant Sister and Her Husband in Balochistan Over Love Marriage

Nushki: In a brutal act of violence in Balochistan’s Nushki district, a woman and her husband were killed by her brothers after she entered a love marriage. The tragic incident took place despite a recent reconciliation between the woman’s family and her husband.
According to Levies, Shoaib Khan, a resident of Panjgur, was traveling with his pregnant wife and brother towards Quetta. The family was staying at a private hotel near the Lakkpas area of Nushki when armed assailants opened fire on them, killing both the husband and wife.
Levies authorities responded immediately upon receiving the report and transferred the bodies to the hospital. It was revealed that Shoaib had married Benezir, a woman from the Hazarganji area of Quetta, approximately seven years ago in a court marriage. The couple had recently reconciled with Benezir’s family.
On the day of the incident, Benezir’s brothers invited the couple to Quetta under the pretext of a family gathering. As they traveled, the couple stopped to rest at a hotel near Lakkpas. The next morning, Benezir’s brothers contacted them to ascertain their location, arrived at the hotel, and murdered both the husband and wife.
After the shooting, the perpetrators fled the scene. Levies have registered a case and launched an investigation to apprehend the culprits.
