Three ‘Fitna-tul-Khawarij’ Terrorists Killed in CTD Operation in Karachi’s Manghopir

KARACHI:In a major counter-terrorism success, **three terrorists affiliated with the banned outfit ‘Fitna-tul-Khawarij’** were killed in an operation conducted by the **Counter Terrorism Department (CTD)** in Karachi’s **Manghopir** area.

According to **CTD Incharge Raja Umar Khattab**, the operation was carried out jointly with a **sensitive intelligence agency** after receiving credible information about the presence of high-profile militants at a residential hideout.

A **heavy exchange of gunfire** ensued during the raid, resulting in the killing of **three terrorists**. The deceased were identified as **Zafran**, **Qudratullah**, while the **third suspect’s identity is being verified**.

Raja Umar Khattab revealed that **Zafran** was a **most-wanted terrorist** with a **bounty of Rs. 20 million** on his head. He was also allegedly involved in a **suicide attack targeting Chinese nationals** last year.

One of the terrorists killed was a **trained suicide bomber**, officials said. Security personnel recovered **grenades, suicide vests**, and a **handwritten diary** from the site. The diary reportedly contained **planned target details and attack blueprints**, indicating that the group was preparing for more acts of terror.

This successful raid is seen as a **significant blow to extremist elements** operating in the city and reflects the ongoing efforts by CTD and intelligence agencies to **dismantle militant networks** across Sindh.
