Monsoon Rains in Balochistan: PDMA Completes Preparations

Quetta: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Balochistan has completed all preparations ahead of the expected monsoon rains. Following the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, all preventive measures were taken before the onset of the rains.
Director PDMA Faisal Tariq stated that all holidays for PDMA personnel have been canceled to deal with any potential emergencies. Heavy machinery has been dispatched to the relevant districts to ensure swift rescue and relief operations.
Faisal Tariq further mentioned that the construction of six divisional headquarters in the province has been completed, and relief supplies will soon be sent to these locations. These headquarters will be responsible for ensuring immediate delivery of relief goods to their respective districts, which will assist in effective rescue and relief operations without delays.
The establishment of divisional headquarters will greatly support rescue and relief operations, and in case of an emergency, these headquarters will be able to initiate operations in the affected districts without any delay. Faisal Tariq Yousafzai also added that the PDMA control center will remain active 24 hours a day to manage any crisis.
