Arrest Warrants Issued for PTI Leader Shibli Faraz; Imran Khan Summoned on July 30

Lahore’s Cantonment Court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shibli Faraz in a case related to an alleged attack on Islamabad Police outside the residence of PTI’s founding chairman.
Judicial Magistrate Sohail Rafiq presided over the hearing and ordered that Shibli Faraz be arrested and presented before the court. Additionally, the court summoned PTI founder Imran Khan to appear on **July 30**. Summons have been issued to the Adiala Jail authorities to ensure his appearance in court on the scheduled date.
The court emphasized that the presence of the accused in court is mandatory and set the next hearing of the case for **July 30** as well.
The case was registered at **Race Course Police Station**, alleging that Imran Khan and other senior PTI leaders were involved in orchestrating an attack on law enforcement officials. The court proceedings are part of ongoing legal actions against PTI leadership in connection with past political unrest.
