Light to Moderate Rain Showers Bring Relief to Karachi, Forecast for More Rains Across Sindh and Other Regions

Karachi, Pakistan:Karachi experienced light to moderate rainfall early in the morning, bringing much-needed relief and pleasant weather to the city. According to Geo News, the rain was reported in various areas, including I.I. Chundrigar Road, Airport, Malir, Gulistan-e-Johar, Scheme 33, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, North Karachi, and New Karachi.
Apart from Karachi, other cities in Sindh, such as Sukkur, Hyderabad, Matiari, Badin, Hala, Tando Bago, Mirpur Khas, and Tando Allahyar also saw rainfall.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted more rainfall today in several regions, including Sindh, Southern Punjab, Balochistan, Islamabad, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
Furthermore, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a warning for potential rainfalls between today and July 25 in 18 districts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. Due to the rains, there is a risk of flash floods in rivers and streams, as well as landslides in hilly areas.
Authorities have urged the public to remain cautious and stay updated on weather alerts.
