Balochistan CM Condemns Terrorist Attack on Police Convoy Near Choto, Vows Justice for Martyrs

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police convoy traveling from Kalat to Quetta near Choto. In his statement, the CM called the attack a “cowardly act” and a reflection of the enemies’ growing frustration over their failure to disrupt the peace efforts in the province.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti paid tribute to the martyred officers, Acting DSP Inspector Abdul Razzaq and Constable Raza Muhammad, calling their loss an “irreparable national tragedy.” He lauded the bravery of the fallen officers, stating that they have brought honor to the nation by sacrificing their lives in the line of duty. He also expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the families of the martyrs.
The CM confirmed that injured personnel, Constable Taj Muhammad and Constable Khurshid Ahmad, are receiving all possible medical care, with the Balochistan government ensuring their complete treatment and support.
Following the attack, security forces immediately launched a search operation in the area to apprehend those responsible. “The perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice,” the Chief Minister affirmed.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti reiterated that the Government of Balochistan, along with Levies, Police, and other security agencies, is fully committed to combating terrorism. “Those conspiring against peace will find no refuge in Balochistan,” he declared. He further stated that the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs will never be forgotten.
