Gold Prices Drop in Pakistan: 24 Carat Gold Now Priced at Rs. 356,000 per Tola

ISLAMABAD – The All Pakistan Sarafa Jewelers Association has announced the latest gold prices for Thursday, 17th July 2025, which will remain valid until 3 PM. After this time, potential fluctuations in prices may occur.
In major cities like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, and Peshawar, the price of 24-carat gold has been set at **Rs. 356,000 per tola**. Additionally, the price for 10 grams of 24-carat gold has been fixed at **Rs. 305,212**.
The gold market witnessed a significant decrease in prices in the previous trading session. On Wednesday, the price of 24-carat gold per tola dropped by Rs. 3,000, from Rs. 359,000 to Rs. 356,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold fell by Rs. 2,572, reducing it from Rs. 307,784 to Rs. 305,212.
The price of 22-carat gold also saw a decline, with the cost of 10 grams dropping by Rs. 2,358, from Rs. 282,145 to Rs. 279,787.
Despite these fluctuations in gold prices, the price of silver remained unchanged. The rate for **one tola silver** stayed steady at **Rs. 4,014**, while **10 grams of silver** remained priced at **Rs. 3,441**.
On the international front, gold prices also saw a dip. The price of **one ounce of gold** fell by **\$30**, bringing it down to **\$3,335**, from its previous value of **\$3,365**. In contrast, the price of **silver** remained stable at **\$38.30 per ounce**.
This drop in the prices of precious metals has been attributed to various global economic factors and fluctuations in the international market.
