Woman Pushes Husband Into River Under Pretext of Taking Selfie — Narrow Escape Caught by Locals

Raichur, India — A shocking incident unfolded at the banks of the Krishna River near the Karnataka-Telangana border, where a woman allegedly pushed her husband into the river under the guise of taking a selfie.

The victim, identified as Tatappa, a resident of Raichur district, was reportedly enjoying an outing with his wife when she asked him to pose for a selfie near the river’s edge. According to eyewitnesses, as soon as Tatappa approached her, she suddenly pushed him into the river’s swift current.

Fortunately, the man was carried a short distance by the water before becoming lodged between rocks. Alert locals noticed the incident and sprang into action, using a rope to rescue him from the river in a dramatic save.

The woman initially claimed that Tatappa had slipped and fallen accidentally. However, eyewitness accounts and the suspicious nature of the incident have raised serious doubts about her version of events.

Police have launched a full investigation to determine the motive and authenticity of the woman’s claims. Authorities are also examining the couple’s relationship history, suspecting that personal disputes may have led to the alleged murder attempt.
