Apple Plans to Launch Multiple New Products in Early 2026, Including Affordable iPhone 17e and Upgraded MacBook Models

Apple Inc. is set to unveil a range of new products during the first half of 2026, including a more affordable iPhone model, new iPads, and upgraded Mac computers, according to media reports. This new lineup will likely be introduced by the spring of 2026, with Apple planning to release an entry-level iPad, an updated iPad Air, and a new external Mac monitor.
The most anticipated product in this lineup is the iPhone 17e, a more budget-friendly version of this year’s $599 model, which is expected to bring a similar design to the iPhone 16 but with a new A19 processor, code-named V159. The iPhone 17e will likely be available early next year.
Apple is also working on updated versions of the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, originally slated for a 2025 release, but now expected to be introduced in 2026. These updates are crucial as the company seeks to maintain its revenue growth amidst a period of uncertainty.
The new products are aimed at restoring the company’s revenue consistency, which has been affected by fluctuations in demand in recent years. After a surge in sales during the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two years have seen a decline, partly due to delays in product releases.
Among the key 2026 Apple products are:
iPhone 17e – Featuring the same design as the iPhone 16 but powered by the new A19 processor (V159), the iPhone 17e is expected to be launched in early 2026.
New iPads – The updated iPads, with code names J581 and J582, are expected to launch in March or April 2026. These will retain the same design as current models but will be powered by faster chips. The iPad Air will be upgraded with the new M5 chip, similar to the iPad Pro.
MacBook Pro Models – The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, with code names J714 and J716, will feature the M5 chip and are expected to launch in early 2026. These will be the final update to the current design before the introduction of new cases and OLED screens.
MacBook Air – With code names J813 and J815, the MacBook Air will also be released in early 2026.
New External Mac Monitor – The first new external monitor for Mac since the Apple Studio Display is expected to arrive in 2026.
Smart Home Hub – Initially expected in 2025, the new smart home hub (code J490) will now be launched in 2026 due to updates related to Siri.
This new lineup will follow Apple’s traditional annual cycle of updates, which includes a redesigned iPhone 17 with a slimmer design, new Pro models, upgraded Apple Watches, the fast Vision Pro headset, and updated iPad Pros. With this ambitious product strategy, Apple hopes to recapture its momentum and satisfy a growing demand for its devices in the coming years.
