Roof Collapse in Lahore’s Gawalmandi Area Traps Six Women Under Rubble

Lahore: A roof collapse at a residential building in Lahore’s Gawalmandi area has resulted in six women being trapped under debris.

According to rescue officials, the incident occurred near the Lahore Hotel when the wooden roof of the upper floor of an old and dilapidated house caved in. As a result, six women were buried under the rubble.

Upon receiving the distress call, rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene and initiated a rescue operation. Thankfully, all six women were safely rescued from the debris.

The women have been identified as Maria, Nabiha, Meenal, Joriya, Babra, and Fozia. The rescue teams have confirmed that all the victims are currently being provided with medical assistance.

Authorities have urged the public to report any signs of dilapidated buildings and structures to prevent such incidents in the future.
