Gold Prices Drop Sharply in Global and Local Markets, Thousands of Rupees Cut

Karachi: Gold prices have dropped significantly today in both the global and local markets. In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce saw a decline of 25 dollars, bringing it to a new level of 3,310 dollars per ounce.
As a result of this decline in global prices, Pakistan also experienced a reduction in gold prices. The price of 24-carat gold per tola fell by 2,500 rupees, bringing it to a new price of 353,000 rupees per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by 2,143 rupees, reaching a new price of 302,640 rupees.
This price drop comes as a direct effect of the international market trends, influencing local gold pricing.
