Lahore Police Solve Rs. 18 Million Theft Case at Chinese National’s Home Within 36 Hours

Lahore: Police have arrested suspects involved in the theft of Rs. 18 million from the house of Chinese national, Shi Depu, in the Defence B area of Lahore. According to ASP Defence Sheher Bano Naqvi, the culprits were apprehended within 36 hours along with the stolen cash from Bahawalpur.
During a press conference held in Defence, ASP Naqvi revealed that the operation was led by SHO Defence B, Ali Hassan, along with his police team. Investigations uncovered that the robbery was masterminded by household staff members.
The main accused, identified as Ali Aziz, along with his accomplices Shabbir and Imtiaz, were arrested during the swift police operation. DIG Operations Lahore had specially tasked SP Cantt to apprehend the suspects. Under his direction, a special team led by ASP Naqvi was formed, which successfully tracked down the culprits.
ASP Naqvi stated that the suspects failed to mislead the police for long and confessed during interrogation. Police recovered Rs. 12 million in cash from them. The arrest was made possible using CCTV footage and modern technology.
A formal case has been registered, and further investigation is underway. SP Cantt praised ASP Naqvi, SHO Defence B, and the police team for their prompt and effective action. ASP Naqvi reiterated that operations against criminal elements will continue without discrimination.
