JUI-F Senator Molana Abdul Wasay Vows to Defend Balochistan’s Rights Amid Controversial Mines and Minerals Bill

In a recent statement to party workers, Provincial Amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Balochistan, Senator Molana Abdul Wasay, expressed his strong opposition to the government’s efforts to marginalize his party from the parliamentary process. He emphasized that JUI-F will continue to fight for the rights of the people of Balochistan, whether inside or outside the assembly.

Molana Wasay specifically referred to the controversial *Mines and Minerals Bill*, which he claims was passed through the assembly based on deceit. JUI-F Balochistan has approached the courts to challenge the legitimacy of this bill, calling it a direct assault on the rights of the people and the province’s sovereignty. He warned that no efforts would be spared to prevent Balochistan’s resources from being “stolen” or exploited.

He further stated, “Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam has made it clear that the rights of this province will not be sold under any circumstances.” Referring to the bill as an attack on provincial autonomy and the 18th Constitutional Amendment, he condemned its passage as a trick orchestrated through deceit and political maneuvering.

JUI-F Balochistan has already taken legal action against the bill and vowed to lead public resistance on the streets. Molana Wasay confirmed that protests will be held in all districts of Balochistan, with the party mobilizing the masses to safeguard their rights.

“The way in which elected public representatives were excluded from the assembly during elections is akin to stripping the people of Balochistan of their rights,” he said. “JUI-F is the only political party that will continue this battle until the end to protect the ownership of the province’s resources for its people.”

He concluded by asserting that the overwhelming trust shown by the public in JUI-F across the province is a testament to the party’s commitment. “JUI-F Balochistan will never leave the people of this province alone in their fight for justice.”
