Exchange Rates: US Dollar and Other Currencies See Slight Fluctuations Against Pakistani Rupee on Thursday, June 26
Karachi: In Pakistan’s interbank market, the value of the Pakistani Rupee saw a slight improvement against the US Dollar on Thursday, June 26, 2025, while minor fluctuations were observed in the prices of other major currencies, including the Saudi Riyal.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the value of the US Dollar decreased by 8 paisa, bringing its new price to PKR 283.66, compared to PKR 283.72 recorded the previous day.
The value of other key currencies in the interbank market included:
Saudi Riyal: PKR 75.63
UAE Dirham: PKR 77.23
Bahraini Dinar: PKR 751.98
Omani Rial: PKR 736.74
Kuwaiti Dinar: PKR 928.28
Qatari Riyal: PKR 77.83
Meanwhile, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan, in the open market, the buying price of the US Dollar was recorded at PKR 284.85 and the selling price at PKR 285.98. The Saudi Riyal was bought at PKR 75.95 and sold at PKR 76.03, while the UAE Dirham had a buying price of PKR 77.65 and a selling price of PKR 78.05.
