Deputy Commissioner of Mastung Orders Dismissal of 18 Levies Personnel Over Negligence During Armed Attack

Mastung:In a significant move, the Deputy Commissioner of Mastung has ordered the dismissal of 18 Levies personnel for their negligence and incompetence during an armed attack on June 21, 2025. The attack took place at the Kardagap Levies Station and the NADRA office, resulting in damage to the station and other properties, along with the theft of weapons and communication equipment.
The decision was made following a report from the Assistant Commissioner of Kardagap, which highlighted the personnel’s failure to perform their duties during the incident. Based on the findings, the Deputy Commissioner issued an order under the Balochistan Levies Force Disciplinary Rules 2015 to immediately terminate the services of the 18 personnel involved.

Additionally, following an attack on the Levies station in Tehsil Dasht, the Director General of Balochistan Levies Force, Abdul Ghaffar Magsi, conducted an emergency visit to assess the security situation and make important decisions. During his visit, he reviewed the attendance and performance of the on-duty personnel and ordered immediate disciplinary actions against those involved in the incident.
DG Levies, Abdul Ghaffar Magsi, emphasized that any attack on the state’s authority is an unforgivable crime. He vowed that no matter whether the culprits are internal or external, strict departmental action would be taken without discrimination. He also made it clear that personnel who fail to uphold their responsibilities and contribute to such incidents will not be reinstated within the force. Legal action would be pursued against them under proper disciplinary orders.
