Pakistan Extends Airspace Closure for Indian Aircraft for Another Month

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has decided to keep its airspace closed for Indian aircraft for an additional month, effective from today.
According to sources in the aviation sector, following heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, Pakistan had initially closed its airspace to Indian flights on April 24. This closure was extended for another month on May 23, and the current extension will last until June 23.
A notice regarding the extension (NOTAM) will be issued by the authorities later today. It is worth noting that in retaliation, India had also closed its airspace to Pakistani aircraft.
