Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Calls National Security Committee Meeting to Discuss Iran-Israel-US Conflict

Islamabad:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has convened a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) today to discuss pressing security concerns. According to sources, the meeting will include key federal ministers as well as military leadership. The primary focus will be on the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, along with other critical national and regional security issues.

The sources further revealed that the meeting will address the current geopolitical situation, both internal and external security matters, and potential implications for Pakistan.

This comes in the wake of a significant escalation in the region, as the United States launched airstrikes on Iran using bunker-buster bombs and missiles, targeting three key nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The attacks have drawn widespread international attention, as the U.S. has effectively joined the war imposed on Iran by Israel.

The NSC meeting is expected to assess the potential repercussions of these developments on regional stability and Pakistan’s security interests.
