Gold Prices Drop in Pakistan – Silver Sees Slight Increase

Karachi: On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged from Tuesday’s revised rates. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, these rates are valid until 3 PM today.
In major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, and Peshawar:
24K gold per tola is being sold at PKR 361,300
10 grams of 24K gold is priced at PKR 309,756
This follows a PKR 1,000 drop in gold prices from the previous day when the rate decreased from PKR 362,300 to PKR 361,300 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24K gold dropped by PKR 857, from PKR 310,613 to PKR 309,756.
For 22K gold, the price per 10 grams decreased by PKR 785, from PKR 284,738 to PKR 283,953.
Meanwhile, silver prices saw a slight rise:
Silver per tola increased by PKR 69, reaching PKR 3,856
10 grams of silver rose by PKR 59, now priced at PKR 3,304
On the international market, gold prices fell by $16 per ounce, dropping from $3,414 to $3,398. In contrast, silver saw a gain of $0.69, bringing the global price to $36.98 per ounce.
Analysts suggest that further fluctuations may occur depending on global economic trends and investor sentiment.
