Former Actress Sanam Chaudhry Hints at Possible Return to Drama Industry — With Hijab and Purpose

Karachi:Former Pakistani television actress and now social media influencer **Sanam Chaudhry** has hinted at a possible return to the drama industry — but only under specific spiritual and moral conditions.

During a recent **Q\&A session on Instagram**, a fan asked her whether she would consider rejoining the entertainment industry **while wearing a hijab**. In response, Sanam said:

> “Yes, I might return — but only if I’m allowed to work completely within my boundaries, in full hijab, and if the content helps bring people closer to Allah.”

Sanam Chaudhry officially left showbiz in **August 2021**, at the peak of her career. She had received critical acclaim and even won a **Best Actress award**. She was married, had children, and seemingly had it all — except peace.

Sharing her spiritual journey, she said that she found true contentment only through **learning the Quran**. “Even during the early chapters, I realized that **peace lies only in the remembrance of Allah** and in His words,” she reflected.

Sanam confessed that during her acting years, she was so absorbed in the material world that she forgot the basic truth — that life is short and death is inevitable. She expressed gratitude for the divine guidance that led her to the right path.

Known for her performances in hit serials such as *Ishq Hamari Galiyon Mein*, *Bhool*, *Ghar Titli Ka Par*, *Aasmanon Pe Likha*, and *Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai*, Sanam’s last appearance was in the drama *Meer Abru*, which aired on **Hum TV**.
