BSOs Condemn Brutal Target Killing of Kamran Jatak in Khuzdar, Call for Justice

Quetta:The central spokesperson of the Baloch Students Organization (BSO) has expressed deep concern and strong condemnation over the recent brutal target killing of Kamran Jatak in Khuzdar. In a statement, the spokesperson described the incident as a cowardly act carried out by notorious death squads operating under state patronage.

Kamran Jatak’s martyrdom, according to the spokesperson, serves as clear evidence that state institutions in Balochistan are not only trampling on human rights but also systematically punishing young people who dare to raise their voices. The BSO spokesperson emphasized that these death squads, armed, protected, and supported by the state, are not only playing with the lives of Baloch youth but are also trying to impose a climate of fear, oppression, and silence across the region.

Khuzdar, which was once a hub for educational, political, and national consciousness, has now, unfortunately, been turned into a killing field due to the very policies that have allowed such acts of violence to thrive. The BSO made a direct appeal to the educated youth of Balochistan, urging them to unite and raise their voices against this tyranny to prevent further extrajudicial killings of young individuals.

The spokesperson concluded by asserting that the BSO will not remain silent on this tragedy. If the state does not put an end to this cycle of violence, the organization will knock on the doors of higher courts to seek justice and accountability.
