Deadline for Registration on “Hotel Eye” Software Approaches for All Hotels and Guesthouses in Punjab

The Punjab Home Department has announced that the last date for registering all hotels, guesthouses, and residential facilities across the province on the “Hotel Eye” software is today, June 15, 2025. This measure aims to prevent terrorism, criminal activities, and illegal operations within the province.

The government has also clarified that the data of guests booking through online platforms like Airbnb or Booking.com will also be included in the registration.

Failure to register will lead to legal action under the “Punjab Information of Temporary Residence Act 2015” against hotels and guesthouses. All hotel and guesthouse owners will be required to provide comprehensive guest information through their login portal to ensure the verification of both domestic and foreign residents, thereby helping to curb crime.

A spokesperson for the Home Department urged all establishments that have not yet registered to do so immediately via the “Hotel Eye” system to avoid any legal complications.
