Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar Hints at Not Working with Humayun Saeed Again

Karachi: Renowned Pakistani writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has hinted that he might not work with famous actor Humayun Saeed in the future.
During a recent television appearance, Qamar spoke candidly on a variety of topics. When host Naeem Hanif asked about his long-standing professional relationship with Humayun Saeed — with whom he has delivered several blockbuster projects — Qamar responded with a surprising revelation.
He said, “It’s possible we may not remain inseparable anymore. Working with him makes my legs tremble.” He further added, “I think we won’t be able to collaborate much in the future.”
Commenting on the decline of the film industry, Qamar blamed the downfall on the disappearance of Punjabi cinema, saying that Urdu films cannot succeed without Punjabi elements. He criticized directors for degrading the quality of Punjabi films by portraying gangsters and thugs as heroes.
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and Humayun Saeed have previously collaborated on several hit projects including the drama Meray Paas Tum Ho and films Punjab Nahi Jaungi and London Nahi Jaunga.
