Severe Decline in Stock Market as PSX Loses 3 Psychological Levels

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has witnessed a sharp decline today, with the index losing three significant psychological levels. The market opened with a drop of 2,241 points, causing the KSE-100 index to fall to 121,851 points.
This downturn follows a period of remarkable bullish activity, with the market having reached its highest-ever level just two days ago. On Thursday, the PSX index crossed the 126,000-point mark, marking an all-time high in its history.
The recent sharp decline reflects the volatile nature of the market, which had been experiencing strong upward momentum in the preceding days.
