Yasir Hussain Publicly Shares His Unique Family Planning Wish: “Even 12 Kids Would Be Fine”

Karachi: Pakistani actor and director Yasir Hussain has once again made headlines — not for a film or drama, but for his surprising and rather bold views on family planning.
During his appearance on a private TV show hosted by Tabish Hashmi, Yasir stunned the audience by expressing his deep love for children and revealing that he wouldn’t mind having as many as 12 kids. In fact, he said it proudly, almost as if he were talking about winning an award.
Explaining his perspective, Yasir shared that he comes from a large family himself — one of 11 siblings. Despite growing up in a small house with limited resources, he recalled a childhood filled with love, joy, and valuable life lessons. He now wishes to recreate the same experience for his own children.
“If you give time, education, and attention to your kids, it doesn’t matter whether the family is big or small — everything is possible,” Yasir said confidently. He added that he knows many families raising a dozen children who are living with dignity and happiness.
When the host jokingly asked if he truly wanted 12 children, Yasir replied with a laugh, “Aap ke munh mein ghee shakkar!” (May your words come true!).
It’s worth noting that Yasir Hussain married actress Iqra Aziz in 2019. The couple started their relationship in 2018, and in 2021, they welcomed their first child, a son named Kabir Hussain.
