Federal Government Announces Adjustment in Petroleum Prices

The federal government of Pakistan has announced a revision in the prices of petroleum products.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol has been increased by **Rs. 1 per liter**, bringing the new price to **Rs. 253.63 per liter**. The price of high-speed diesel remains **unchanged at Rs. 254.64 per liter**.

The revised prices will take effect **from midnight tonight**.

It is noteworthy that on **May 16**, the government had kept the petrol price unchanged while reducing the price of high-speed diesel by **Rs. 2 per liter**.
