Indian Military Admits Loss of Fighter Jets in May Clashes with Pakistan

Islamabad: In a significant revelation, the Indian military has for the first time confirmed the loss of an unspecified number of fighter jets during clashes with Pakistan in May.
According to reports, India’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan, acknowledged the losses during an interview with Bloomberg TV on Saturday, held on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore.
This marks the first official admission by the Indian armed forces regarding aerial losses in recent confrontations with Pakistan. Details about the number and type of aircraft lost have not been disclosed.
