Youm-e-Takbeer Symbolizes Pakistan’s Dignity, Sovereignty, and Unshakable Defense: Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani

Quetta – Pakistan People’s Party leader and Member of the National Assembly, Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani, in his special message on Youm-e-Takbeer, stated that May 28 marks the day of Pakistan’s greatness, self-respect, and defense sovereignty. He said that on this day, the green crescent flag soared high with pride, and the nation showed the world that it is ready to make every sacrifice for its homeland.
Raisani emphasized that if the nation is united and the leadership is courageous, no power in the world can bring it down. He said the nuclear tests of May 28, 1998, provided Pakistan with an unbreakable defensive shield, and even today, the armed forces of Pakistan stand as a steel wall against the enemy’s malicious intentions.
He highlighted that “Bunyan-ul-Marsous” is the continuation of the defensive doctrine that began with Youm-e-Takbeer. Despite India’s continuous provocations and aggression, Pakistan has always advocated for peace. “Desire for peace is not a weakness but a mark of a responsible state,” he added.
Raisani paid tribute to former Prime Ministers Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, and the team of scientists who played a vital role in Pakistan’s nuclear program. He said Pakistan is a responsible nuclear power that has maintained strategic balance in the region while prioritizing global peace.
He also praised the people of Balochistan for rejecting anti-army propaganda and demonstrating unwavering support for the country’s defense.
