Efforts Resume to Restart Negotiations Between PTI and Government

PESHAWAR:Fresh efforts are underway to revive stalled negotiations between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the federal government, with key party leaders actively involved in behind-the-scenes diplomacy.
According to PTI sources, **Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar** and **Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif** are playing a central role in efforts to initiate dialogue. The process, sources say, had previously come to a halt due to heightened **India-Pakistan tensions**, but momentum is now building again.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Advisor on Information, **Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif**, told Geo News that while **no formal negotiations** are currently taking place, **efforts for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan** are ongoing.
It is noteworthy that **Barrister Saif met Imran Khan** two nights ago at Adiala Jail, where, according to insiders, the former prime minister issued important instructions regarding **pushing forward the negotiation process** with the government.
While official talks remain unconfirmed, these developments suggest renewed interest from both sides in seeking a political resolution amid ongoing political and judicial challenges facing PTI. The coming days are expected to be crucial in determining whether these informal contacts will translate into formal talks.
