Wildfire Spreads Across Malakand Hills, Wildlife Severely Affected

Malakand:A massive wildfire has broken out in the hilly areas of Malakand, spreading across an estimated 10 kilometers of rugged terrain. According to a spokesperson for the rescue services, the blaze has caused significant damage to local wildlife, with exact figures yet to be determined.

Efforts to contain the fire are being hampered by the difficult and inaccessible terrain, making it challenging for firefighting teams to reach certain areas. Authorities are assessing the environmental impact and are coordinating efforts to prevent the fire from spreading further.

Meanwhile, in **Peshawar**, a fire that broke out at a medicine warehouse on Ring Road has been successfully extinguished. The operation involved **8 fire vehicles** and **2 water bowsers**, with no casualties reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Authorities are urging citizens to stay away from affected areas and report any signs of fire or smoke, especially in vulnerable forest zones during the dry season.
