PTI Leader Shandana Gulzar Warns of Public Backlash Over Injustice to Imran Khan

Islamabad:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shandana Gulzar has issued a strong warning, stating that any injustice against PTI founder Imran Khan will provoke a fierce public reaction. “The people will storm the homes of those who commit injustice against Imran Khan,” she said in a fiery statement that has stirred political debate.

Referring to remarks made by fellow PTI leader Salman Akram Raja, who advocated for seeking justice through courts, Gulzar said, “He says we come to knock on the doors of courts — we are not door-knockers, we are door-breakers.”

Her statement signals a hardening of tone within certain PTI circles, reflecting growing frustration over the legal and political challenges faced by Imran Khan since his removal from office and subsequent legal battles.

Gulzar did not limit her criticism to legal institutions. She also launched verbal attacks on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, President Asif Ali Zardari, and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, accusing them of political persecution and complicity in what she termed a campaign of injustice.

Political observers have raised concerns over the increasingly aggressive rhetoric, warning that such statements could escalate tensions in an already polarized environment.

Calls for restraint have come from several quarters, urging PTI leaders to channel their grievances through constitutional and legal means rather than resorting to provocative language that could incite unrest.
