Pakistan Confirms Contact Between National Security Advisors Amid India-Pakistan Tensions

Islamabad:Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister **Ishaq Dar** has confirmed direct contact between the **National Security Advisors (NSAs) of Pakistan and India** amidst the ongoing cross-border tensions.
In an interview with Turkish media, Ishaq Dar revealed that the two NSAs have communicated in recent days. However, he emphasized that **India’s actions are unforgivable** and described the recent attack as an **act of war**, stating that **Pakistan reserves the right to respond appropriately**.
Earlier, Dar had also briefed **OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha** about the recent escalation and Indian aggression.
The contact comes after India launched a **nighttime strike** targeting civilian areas in **Azad Kashmir** — including **Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Bagh**, as well as **Muridke** and **Ahmedpur Sharqia** — resulting in the **deaths of 31 Pakistani civilians**, including two children, and injuring **51 others**. Two mosques were also reportedly destroyed.
In response, Pakistan retaliated by **shooting down five Indian aircraft**, including **three Rafale jets**, **one MiG-29**, **one SU-30**, and a **combat drone**.
