Pakistan Seeks to Enhance Cooperation with Oman on Counter-Narcotics and Human Trafficking: Interior Minister

Islamabad/Muscat – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Muscat on a one-day official visit to Oman, where he was warmly received at the airport by senior officials of the Omani Ministry of Interior, including Secretary of Interior Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Oman Syed Naveed Safdar Bukhari, and other dignitaries.
According to the official statement, Minister Naqvi held a meeting with Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, who extended a heartfelt welcome to him. During the meeting, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed Pakistan’s desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation with Oman in combating drug trafficking and human smuggling.
Minister Naqvi is scheduled to hold further meetings with senior Omani officials. In light of the current regional situation, he will brief the Omani leadership on Pakistan’s stance and perspectives.
